The idea of Luna Click & Caddy was first thought of in spring 2020...during the covid pandemic shut down. The pandemic forced us to make the best at home, since we were basically confined to our homes. As the warm weather approached, folks in the north especially were eager to venture outside even if it was only to our decks and/or backyards…there was a want and need to get out and feel some sense of normalcy.
HOW A SIMPLE IDEA BECAME A SOLUTION FOR OUTDOOR LIVING DURING THE PANDEMIC
Like many families, optimizing our outdoor space became an essential part for our lives during these difficult times. Our backyard became our go to place as much as possible weather permitting. The umbrella table in my backyard became my family’s gathering spot. I wanted to optimize every bit of it, so I ordered an umbrella table caddy/organizer which would allow us to do just that.
Never owning an umbrella table caddy/organizer before, I was SUPER EXCITED! However, the feeling of excitement for my new gadget was short lived. Reality hit…oh, “I have a snafu here." To affix my umbrella table caddy/organizer, I had to lift the umbrella pole out, place the caddy/organizer on table, then reinsert the umbrella pole first through the caddy/organizer then through the table. It was a strenuous task to say the least, very physically challenging for me to do without the help. I immediately said, “ok so I can never do this by myself”? The search began for an umbrella table caddy/organizer that simply clicks around the pole...and ended with me inventing it. Believe in Yourself!!
